Day 1 – Off We Go…
On this beautiful morning 30 different people from 6 different churches, representing Connecticut, New York, Valley forge alumni, and Maryland met as strangers and are ending the day as new friends!
Our travel was mostly smooth despite the rainy weather. God provided in each and every circumstance that arose, from baggage issues to take off delays. This time was given for us to get to know each other and build relationships that will be so critical for our kingdom work! Many laughs and conversations about how the Lord is going to use us on this trip made these little frustrations irrelevant. God is so good to have provided us with this special time and to allow us opportunities to form a team. Pastor Andy spoke about how important a team mindset will be as we set out to be God’s hands and feet this week. We can all feel God’s hand over these relationships that will be made and how much it will impact our ministry.
As 1 Corinthians 12 says, we are all many members of one body in Christ. We
Know that God has promised to use us all in unique ways to glorify Him this week. I am so excited to see how He will continue to join us together for His greater purpose!
Our team arrived safe and we are thank you all of for your prayers and support as we step out in faith on this journey together!
